Devi Sri hopes to hit hattrick with 'Damarukam'

'Damarukam' promo songs were received well on YouTube by the fans and composer Devi Sri Prasad hopes to have another hit to his credit when the album releases on Monday.

One of the 'Damarukam' songs is titled 'Shiv Shiva Shankara', which is a pulsating number. Sung by DSP, the song is in praise of Lord Shiva and lyrics have different names of him. The composer has used lot of damru sound in it.

"Wowww already tremendous response for 'Damarukam' promo songs! Even b4 I realised that they were uploaded...!! Thaaanx a lot Guyss," he tweeted.

This year, the composer has already given two successful albums 'Gabbar Singh' and 'Julayi'.

Akkineni Nagarjuna and Anushka Shetty-starrer 'Damarukam' is a socio-fantasy and Devi Sri teamed up with six lyricists and about 15 singers for the soundtrack of the film, directed by Srinivasa Reddy.

Meanwhile, the composer is busy with the music of Tamil film 'Alex Pandian', starring actors Karthi and Anushka.
