Actress Raasi (known in Tamil as Manthra), who once scorched the Tamil and Telugu silver screens as a glam doll and acted with Arun Vijay and Ajith in 'Ganga Gowri' and 'Rettai Jadai Vayasu' respectively, is returning to K-town.

The bubbly actress, who ended her acting career after marrying Tollywood director Srinivas in 2004, is now back to sizzle the celluloid again. If rumours are to be believed, she will be seen with Simbu in one of his upcoming flicks. When contacted, the only information she confirmed was her comeback in a Tamil flick and remained tightlipped about other things.

However, sources say, it could be 'Vaalu', in which Simbu pairs with Hansika. Debutant Vijay Chander is directing the film, which is expected to release this Deepavali.

Raasi has also joined a list of actors who are hosting a TV show and will feature in the second season of 'Aayirathil Oruvan', a reality game show on Zee Tamil as an anchor. However it’s not her first TV show as she has already hosted a similar game show in Zee Telugu.
