Adivi Sesh, who is playing an important part in SS Rajamouli’s upcoming magnum opus Baahubali, found himself in an uncomfortable position, when his remarks at the film’s audio launch recently backfired. The director-cum-actor made a passing reference to powerstar Pawan Kalyan and that drew a huge cheer from the fans, who roared louder than they did for any of Baahubali’s stars, upsetting Prabhas’ fans.
Irked fans spammed Sesh’s Facebook account expressing their displeasure prompting him to apologise.
“Hi guys, was quite surprised to see some reactions to my speech. Meant no ill will. Have utmost love and respect for Prabhas and all his fans. Please know that both these huge actors that I have worked with have been full of grace and affection. Please don’t misconstrue my words. I simply wanted to speak about my start in the industry and thank the people who gave me both movies. Wanted to extend my gratitude for it. Want to apologize to anyone who felt otherwise. It wasn’t intended,” Sesh posted on his Facebook page. Sources also believe that the apology came after director SS Rajamouli’s instructions as lead actor Prabhas was unhappy with him mentioning Pawan Kalyan at a time when the spotlight wassupposed to be on Baahubali.
So while Sesh directed his apology to fans of Prabhas, it seems like it was actually directed at the actor himself!
