Sana's Shandaar Debut

Getting a break in the Bollywood’s most desired production house Dharma Productions is certainly a dream for every actor, so what happens when you get a chance to work with them for your debut movie? Sanah Kapur who is featuring in Dharma Production’s upcoming movie Shandaar, playing the second lead, Alia Bhatt’s sister’s role is overwhelmed of being associated with such big brands.

Not many are aware that this Gulabo girl wanted to go through auditions and look test to get started with her career in Bollywood and that’s exactly she was signed in for this film. In fact Sanah had kept this as a secret amongst her family members, who were totally clueless that she was going to be part of this movie.

Commenting on her association with Dharma Productions and Phantom Productions, Sanah aka the Gulabo girl says, “I am extremely glad to work for two biggest productions of Bollywood. I knew that I wanted to become an actor since childhood and trained myself to become one. My family members were aware about my desires but I didn’t want to take any support from them. When I went for the auditions of Shandaar, I choose to do this on my own, to work independently and prove myself! I would like to thank Mukesh Chabbra for acknowledging my talent and giving me this role which I instantly fall in love with.”

While Gulabo track is trending on the chartbuster list, Sanah is surprising everyone with her talent!

Fit to fat and now reverse

Sanah Kapur also had to put on 15 kg for Shandaar. An insider informs us that Sanah was been asked by the director Vikas Behl to gain some extra kilos to fit in the character of Esha in Shandaar. Despite putting on the extra kg, Sanah doesn’t fail to impress the audience with her stunning looks and her charming smile. Now that the movie is over, Sanah has hit the gym again to get into shape and surprise the audience with her new avatar very soon. Commenting on her struggle to go from fit to fat and reversing the cycle now, the Gulabo girl says, “It was a mental challenge to convince myself to put on so much weight but for the love of the role I thought it was worth it. It was a difficult journey of putting on and now to lose weight”.
