Maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma yet again produced a bitter-sweet moment for ‘Mega’ fans. Varma, who was impressed by the trailer of Varun Tej’s upcoming Kanche, praised the film to the skies, but also took potshots at other members of the ‘mega’ family.

“Very impressed with the raw intensity and searing realism in both Varun Tej’s expressions and also his body language. From whatever I saw of him, I think Varun Tej will be a great son and will make up for what his father Naga Babu garu couldn’t do,” RGV posted on twitter.

The filmmaker, who is known to kick up a storm with his explosive comments, did not just stop at that and also took potshots at other members of the Chiranjeevi family.

“From whatever I saw of him (Varun), Kanche trailer and Puri Jagan’s scenes, I think Varun Tej will be the best of all the Megastar related stars,” he tweeted.

The Satya director also welcomed a fresh concept in the film industry and heaped praise on the Kanche team for thinking out of the box. “Really happy to see Telugu cinema growing up from irritating repetitiveness of cliches. Congrats to Varun and Krish,” he added.
