Dubbing to Perfection

Actor Nandoo speaks about being the voice behind Tamil superstar Arya in his upcoming bilingual Size Zero

Young actor Nandoo, who is known for his roles in films like 100 per cent love, Best Actors and 365 Days, will be the voice behind Arya in his upcoming film Size Zero.

Nandoo, who has been roped in to dub for the Tamil Superstar in the much-awaited film which also features Anushka Shetty, says he had a great time in his new ‘role’.

“When you act, it’s like you already know the emotions since you’ve been living in the character for quite some time. When I act, I do whatever I can and then I have my own body language and voice modulations to suit the character. But to adapt to someone else’s body language and to dub for it was a bit of a crazy experience and I really enjoyed it,” shares an excited Nandoo.

While admitting that it wasn’t an easy task to dub for an actor like Arya, Nandoo, who was previously seen in the recently released Pesarratu, says he had a lot of fun dubbing for the Tamil superstar.

“I had lot of scope to modulate and to be creative when it comes to expression. For example, during Arya’s angry expressions, I had the chance to mellow it down or to sound more aggressive and I basically had control over someone else’s character,” gushes Nandoo.

The actor is also working on his upcoming acting project, which will be with new actors under a new banner.

“Even though there are a lot of newcomers, the film’s technical team will have experienced people. An announcement will be made around Dasara,” Nandoo added.
