Even though megastar Chiranjeevi has been roped in to play a cameo, which includes an item song in Ram Charan’s upcoming Bruce Lee, the makers are struggling to find a leading lady to shake a leg with the father-son duo.
Initially actress Ileana D’cruz was approached for Tollywood’s very own Kajra Re, but sources revealed that the Pokiri actress charged a whopping 1.5 crores to do the number.
Reports later suggested that Baahubali star Tamannaah had been approached for a special song with the megastar, but when Express contacted her, Tamannaah categorically denied being approached by the makers of Bruce Lee.
The actress subsequently posted on Twitter saying, “Not been approached for any song in the film #BruceLee, false news guys!!! (sic).”
Directed by Srinu Vaitla, Bruce Lee also features Rakul Preet Singh, and is slated to hit screens on October 15.
