Nithya Menen, who rose to fame with films like OK Kanmani (2015), will be teaming up with Venkatesh in her next. She  wrote on Facebook, “Officially announcing my next film — a well-written comedy, a family-film, with a unique situation where love crops up between two people with an age difference. Looking forward to starting shoot (sic).”

Touted to be a commercial entertainer, this film will be directed by Kishore Tirumala. Meanwhile, Venkatesh is busy with he Telugu remake of Saala Khadoos and it looks like after he finishes his existing commitments, he’ll shoot for this one, which is likely to be produced by Ram Mohan under Multi-Dimensions banner.

A source said, “The crew is currently doing pre-production related work and shooting will begin from October in Hyderabad. This is the first time they are being paired up and expectations are already high. This untitled flick will be on the lines of Nuvva Naaku Nachav (2001). Other actors are yet to be finalised. Venkatesh will be playing his age and Nithya will be seen as a young girl, who falls for him.”
