Rana, along with actress Kajal Agarwal was in the city on Wednesday to participate in the pre-release event of ‘Nene Raju Nene Mantri’.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that his character in the film ‘Jogendra’ is just a money lender in Anantapur. Moreover, the film is completely a love story revolving around characters Radha and Jogendra and politics is not the main issue in the film.
Rana also said that the film cannot be compared with his first film ‘Leader’.
The film also completed its censor formalities and the board members have given U/A certification. “I have worked with my father this first time in this film.
We always talk about films at home but to finally join hands for this project was special.
It was one of the finest experiences of my life,” he said.
When asked about doing a film with his uncle and hero Venkatesh, Rana said that he was very eager to work with his uncle. Moreover, a good script with all elements like family, action, drama is needed for launching the project.
