Shraddha who rose to fame with Aashiqui 2, will be paired with Prabhas in his upcoming multilingual venture, Saaho. Earlier, there were speculations that Anushka might play the female lead in the film.

The makers, UV Creations, were quite excited to welcome the actress on board and did so through their official Twitter handle, saying, “Happy to announce the leading lady of Saaho, the beautiful Shraddha Kapoor it is. Here’s welcoming her to the Saaho family”.

Saaho will be Prabhas’ first film in Hindi, and we hear there are going to be some intense action scenes, thanks to the work of stuntman, Kenny Bates, who’s doing action choreography for the project. Touted to be an hi-tech action drama, it is being shot in three languages—Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu—simultaneously.

A massive set has been erected for Saaho in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The film, with music by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, will feature Neil Nitin Mukesh in the role of the antagonist. Telugu filmmaker Sujeeth Reddy is directing the film.
