Keerthy Suresh starts shooting for her next

After earning plaudits for her performance in Mahanati, actor Keerthy Suresh has teamed up with debutant director Narendra Nath for a female-centric film.

After earning plaudits for her performance in Mahanati, actor Keerthy Suresh has teamed up with debutant director Narendra Nath for a female-centric film. Produced by Mahesh S Koneru, the film, referred to as Keerthy 20, also stars actors Rajendra Prasad, Naresh Vijaya Krishna, Bhanushree Mehra, Kamal Kamaraju and Nadhiya in pivotal roles. Keerthy, who was not part of the first schedule, has finally commenced shooting for the film on Wednesday. “A 15-day schedule is currently underway in Hyderabad.

While Keerthy plays a strong character, Naresh and Nadhiya will be seen as her parents, Bhanushree and Kamal essay her siblings and Rajendra Prasad doing her grandfather’s role. The film will also have a few big names in other roles,” says Mahesh. Interestingly, the story of the film unfolds in the US. “The film is set against the US backdrop and we will be filming those portions in May for 40 days,” the producer adds. Kalyani Malik is scoring music for the film which is scheduled to release for Dasara.
