THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Cadell Jeansen Raja, who was arrested on Monday by the Thampanoor Railway police in connection with the killing of four people including his parents at Nanthancode, admitted to the police he committed all the four murders.  

Deputy Commissioner of Police Arul R B Krishna said Cadell killed his mother on Wednesday morning and took the life of his father and sister past noon the same day.

Cadell confessed to the police that he killed a relative, a 70-year-old woman, on Saturday morning. However, he has not revealed the motive behind the gruesome act. He will be produced before the magistrate on Tuesday. 


Cadell told the police he bought the axe that was used in the crime through an online platform. 
Suspecting him to be a mentally troubled person, the officers are seeking the assistance of a psychiatrist. The DCP said Cadell went to Chennai and stayed in a hotel paying `5,000. He returned to Thriuvananthapuram on Monday. 


Police said Cadell had been performing Satan worship and following a Chinese faith which prompted him to commit the murders.
