LONDON: A woman named Silvana Valentino Locke is a crazy cat lover, who forks out 90,000 pounds each year on her 122 cats.

The mother of two, who lives with her 32-year-old husband, has 52 cats living in her four-bedroom house while 40 live at the bottom of her garden with another 30 in a neighbouring field, reported the Mirror.

Talking about her love for the cats, 55-year-old Locke claims that it’s an addiction and she feels like she has OCD about cats and it’s her job to look after them all.

She added that her car number plate has ‘mad cat woman’ printed on it and every time she gets a call about an abandoned cat she is unable to say no.

Locke, who has rescued 600 cats and has rehomed 7,000 over the past 12 years, shares equal amount with her husband to cover the cat expenses and even arranges for charity and donations.

She spends 4,500 pounds a month on vet bills and 500 pounds a week to feed her cats.

Moreover, the 52 cats are fed three times a day and their 12 litter trays are changed daily at 30 pounds a time.

Talking about her wife’s obsession, Tony Locke said that he is aware of her wife’s passion and tries not to think too much about cats being everywhere.
