To undo the grave damage caused by pollution over the years, I decided to switch to chemical-free products a few months back. To my advantage, the market has only been growing fuller with options that leave out toxic elements, including the new shampoo, conditioner, and oil that I tried recently.
They belong to the Fermented Rice Water range by WishCare. Rice water is known to reduce frizziness, and for that one benefit, I was willing to try it, especially the frizz-havoc caused by humidity these days. The shampoo requires a lot of work as it does not lather up fast enough.
Unless you use a significant amount, you will struggle. Having said that, it is a gentle product that softens hair. The formulation has Vitamin E, coconut oil, almond oil, soy protein and more… all of which help in detangling and smoothening. The conditioner does its job of hydrating hair satisfactorily but it does little to repair split ends or hair damage. The best of the lot was the hair oil. Keep it overnight and see the difference.
