Product Review - Comfort Comes First. Period.

FemTech is a flourishing industry and is touted to reach $71,000 million by 2026. Among the plethora of menstrual wellness brands available today, I recently tried Nua’s customisable, cotton, toxin-free, rash-free and perfume-free pads. These are dermatologically tested too. One can create a pack of 12 pads from three sizes available—heavy (XL), medium (L) and light (R). You can also subscribe to the automated deliveries plan, which can be edited or cancelled anytime. I loved the fact that each pad came with a disposal cover.

The other product I tried was the Cramp Comfort heat patch, inspired by a hot water bag, designed to provide heat to the abdomen. It has to be stuck to the inside of your undergarment near your lower abdomen. It is extremely easy to use and carry and is air-activated, which means it emits heat when in contact with the atmosphere and provides warmth for up to eight hours.

Having said that, the heat patch works best for those with mild to moderate period pain. Also, the heat patch moves from its place when you stand or walk, unless you are wearing something that hugs the body. I wish the brand has a way of fixing that.

Nevertheless, both products are terrifically priced, provide comfort and allow for easy customisation.
