Honda Jazz

Honda Jazz

After a not-so-great debut, Honda Motor India’s premium hatch Jazz is getting ready to woo Indians again in its new avatar. The company hopes the new Jazz, which is expected to be out sometime in mid-2014, will definitely jazz the market and regain its lost glory.

From the outside, the car will sport a new grille which makes it look more sportier and aggressive, headlamps that remind you of the Civic, a large profile bumper that has large air-vents and then the very prominent beltline that flows neatly into the new tail-lamps. Then you will also find some metallic inserts in the headlamps and turn indicators on the OVRMs. The new Jazz’s wheelbase has increased by approximately 50mm and if Honda sticks to its sub-four-metre length it will fall under the definition of a small car, making it eligible for an excise benefit thereby becoming an affordable car.
