Cloud computing is one of the biggest technology trends of this decade. With everything—from storage of files to running software moving to the cloud—few companies have distinguished themselves in the cloud computing space. Box is one of the companies which are making it count on the enterprise side of things. Box is creating waves by tying up with big players like IBM. It has recently appointed Jeetu Patel as the new Senior Vice President of Platform and Chief Strategy Officer.
Patel started his career at Doculabs, a strategy consulting firm. When he left Doculabs 16 years later, he was its President and became the Chief Technology Officer of EMC, one of the biggest enterprise software solutions firms. He oversaw the move of the company into cloud computing technology and was instrumental in the acquisition of Syncplicity. With Patel as the GM, Syncpilicity became a leading player in worldwide enterprise file sync and share market.
