Facebook Suffers Outage Affecting Users Worldwide

SEOUL: Facebook is suffering a widespread outage Tuesday affecting users in the United States, Asia and Australia.

The social media giant's Instagram service is also inaccessible.

Instagram said on its Twitter account that it is aware of an outage and is working on a fix.

There was no immediate statement from Facebook.

Facebook had 1.25 billion monthly active users at the end of September.
