USA and Japan to Square-Off in Giant Robot Battle

The battle could take place in a desired venue for both teams agreed on mutually in about a year's time.

Two electronics industry giants, USA and Japan may soon find themselves up against each other in a Giant Robot Battle. USA's Megabot Mark II versus the Japanese KURATAS could be a first of its kind epic battle, which would make science fiction into reality.

The American Megabot Mark II weighs at 12000 pounds and it is powered by Gasoline. It could be piloted by a team of two and could fire paint cannon balls at over 100 miles an hour.

The Japanese KURATAS on the other hand weighs at 9000 pounds and is a single seater giant fighting robot equipped with twin Gatling guns, a hyper-advanced targeting system and full heads-up display.

The challenge issued by Megabot builders little less than a month ago was accepted by Sudobashi - the creators of KURATAS.

The battle could take place in a desired venue for both teams agreed on mutually in about a year's time. As both teams try to make their Giant robots combat ready.
