NEW DELHI: Teams from the Intelligence Bureau(IB), Delhi Police’s Special Cell and Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) on Wednesday reached Kathmandu to quiz the Mumbai blasts’ ‘suspect’ arrested by the Nepal Police.
The suspect was arrested by the Nepal Police’s Anti-Terrorist Cell, following inputs from the Indian security agencies.
“The person concerned was arrested after he was tapped talking to people who owned numbers which are under scanner in Mumbai and Dubai before and after the blasts. We tipped the Nepal police,” sources said. “Our teams have flown in to Kathmandu to quiz the suspect,” source said.
