Union Minister of State for Surface Transport, Jitin Prasad, said he was ready to take up the job of the UPCC president, if ordered to do so by the Congress high command.
Prasad, who made the remarks during a luncheon meeting with newspersons here on Wednesday, said in response to another question that the entire party was waiting for the prince-in-waiting Rahul Gandhi to assume a bigger role in both the organisation and the government.
