West Bengal: 27 trapped miners rescued in Burdwan

All the twenty seven trapped miners have been rescued in Burdwan in West Bengal, sources said.

Miners were trapped at South Shyamala Colliery at Pandeshwar in Burdwan district. Miners trapped after the lift carrying them at the end of their shift stopped working.

Alternative winding machine was also not working. The miners were coming out after their night shift at 7 am when the incident happened, sources say.
