India, Pakistan review CBMs’ implementation

India and Pakistan reviewed the ceasefire agreement implementation along the Line of Control (LoC) at the expert-level talks on conventional confidence Building measures (CBMs) on Thursday.

Y K Sinha, Additional Secretary in Ministry of External Affairs, and his Pakistan counterpart Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhry led the delegations of their respective countries at the talks that delved into the recent ceasefire agreement violations along the LoC.

“The two sides reviewed the implementation of existing CBMs exchanged ideas to further advance the CBM process and reaffirmed their commitment to continue discussions with the aim of strengthening conventional CBMs,” said a press release issued after the meeting.
