NCC cadets’ bodies handed over to kin

The bodies of the five NCC cadets who drowned in the Periyar river in Kerala on Wednesday, were brought here on Thursday, while the Central, Kerala and Delhi Governments announced a total compensation of `10 lakh each to their families.

Union Defence Minister A K Antony personally received the bodies at the Palam air force base, which were then handed over to their respective families.
