GHAZIABAD: A CBI special court here today extended till February 21 the judicial custody of three accused persons in connection with the Rs 5000 crore National Rural Health Mission (NRHM) scam.Special Judge A K Singh extended the judicial remand of Abhay Vajpayee, Director in UP health services, G Ram, retired Director General of health services, and Saurabh Jain, managing director of two medicine companies in Moradabad who supplied medicines for this project. Jain's bail application was rejected by the same court last week, while the other two did not apply for bail. The trio were arrested by the CBI last month.
