AGRA: An anonymous telephonic warning forced security forces to comb the Taj Mahal for a hidden bomb Wednesday afternoon, but it proved to be a hoax call.

Police and the bomb disposal squad scanned the entire Taj, India's biggest tourist draw. The search led to nothing -- except tense moments.

Deputy Inspector General of Police Aseem Arun told IANS: "We got a call at the police control room. We scanned the whole area and found nothing. Now we are trying to trace the caller. We will get him soon."
