Pawar visits Thackeray at hospital

Union Agriculture Minister and NCP chief Sharad Pawar today called on Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray at the Lilavati Hospital here.

Pawar who arrived from Delhi this evening drove straight to the hospital and enquired about the 86-year-old Shiv Sena leader.

Pawar had earlier met Thackeray on July 13, alongwith Pranab Mukherjee, who was on a visit to the city for campaigning for presidential election.

Earlier in the day, the Agriculture Minister returned to work at the Krishi Bhawan in New Delhi after the end of the week-long standoff between his party NCP and the Congress yesterday.

Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan today said that the dates of the co-ordination committee meetings would be decided soon.
