NEW DELHI: The Delhi police are likely to question separatist Kashmiri leader and Hurriyat Conference chief Syed Ali Shah Geelani for ‘recommending’ LeT militant Ethesham Malik for a Pakistani visa. “Ethesham went to Pakistan in December last year on a valid passport and underwent arms training in LeT’s training facilities,” said a source. “Copy of Geelani’s recommendation letter was found among documents seized from Ethesham,” he added. Geelani’s spokesperson Ayaz Akbar said, “We do not know about this particular case. But generally, if any Kashmiri comes to Geelani for a recommendation, he gives it only because of him being a Kashmiri.”
