INDORE: The BJP was not contemplating any action against its MLA Dhruv Narayan Singh who was quizzed by the CBI in connection with the murder of RTI activist Shehla Masood, party's Madhya Pradesh unit President Prabhat Jha said here today.
"Dhruv has been questioned in connection with Shehla's murder but so far neither the CBI nor court has held him guilty and hence no action can be taken against him," Jha told reporters.
Jha said that after Shehla's murder, he had spoken to the MLA who told him that he had nothing to do with the killing.
About Dhruv's pictures with Saqib Ali alias Danger who is an accused in the Shehla murder case, he said that the MLA has been in politics and daily meets several people who are not known to him.
The CBI team investigating the Shehla Masood murder case yesterday interrogated Dhruv for several hours and conducted searches at his premises today.
