NEW DELHI: A medium-intensity quake of 4.9 magnitude rattled parts of north India on Monday afternoon.  According to the IMD officials, the quake which occurred at 1.11 pm, was epicentred at Bahadurgarh in Haryana.  Panic-stricken people in Delhi, Haryana, parts of UP, Punjab and Rajasthan ran out of their homes and offices. But there were no immediate reports of deaths. The tremors were also felt in Ghaziabad, Meerut, Karnal, Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Bhiwani, Jaipur, Alwar, Jhajjar, Agra, Faridabad and Noida.
