Former president Pratibha PatilSaturdayvisited ailing Shiv Sena supremo Balasaheb Thackeray at hisMatoshree residence in suburban Bandra.
Patil was accompanied by her husband DevisinghShekhavat,sources said.
She was there for about ten minutes and Shiv Senaexecutive president Uddhav Thackeray was also present at themeeting, they said.
Shiv Sena had extended support to Patil when shecontested presidential election in 2007.
