‘Gadkari must go’

BJP national executive member, Jagadish Shettigar is the latest BJP leader to demand party chief Nitin Gadkari’s resignation over charges of dubious funding of his Purti group of companies. Shettigar said that as a “swayamsevak”, Gadkari “should protect the interests of the country first and then the interest of the organisation”. He cited the example of L K Advani who had stepped down when allegations were made against him in the hawala case.
