A private jet carrying senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders from Delhi to Bangalore made an emergency landing at the Delhi airport Monday morning, an airport official said.
"The private jet which started around 10 a.m. today (Monday) returned to Delhi due to a technical snag," a Delhi airport official not wishing to be identified told IANS.
BJP president Rajnath Singh and senior party leaders Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley were aboard the plane. They were travelling to Bellary in Karnataka to address a rally.
