An inquiry has been initiated against the RPF official who threatened Express lensman Mithun Vinod with getting him implicated in a bomb blast case. Mithun’s mistake was that he parked his two-wheeler in a no-parking zone in the Ernakulam Junction railway station while covering the general strike on Wednesday.
On Thursday, Mithun tried to lodge an official complaint against the RPF officer. The complaint was given to K P James, Assistant Commissioner, RPF, who went through it and advised Mithun that it would be better if the issue could be settled without proceeding with the complaint as the RPF officer too had given a complaint, which would be proceeded with only if Mithun insisted on going ahead with his complaint.
