Maoists blasted a state-run middle school in Bihar's Jamui district early Saturday, police said.

More than 50 armed guerrillas blew up the school in Bhulsumia village in Jamui, about 200 km from here, using a dynamite. The building was badly damaged.

The incident took place two days after Maoists attacked a passenger train in Jamui killing three people.
