A BJP delegation led by Vijay Kumar Malhotra, Leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, will meet President Pranab Mukherjee on Sunday to demand the immediate dismissal of Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit.
Malhotra said that Delhi Lokayukta Manmohan Sarin has held the chief minister responsible for misappropriating public funds for publicity and misleading campaigns. The Lokayukta also requested the President to advise the chief minister or her party to reimburse `11 crore.
On Friday, hundreds of BJP activists led by Delhi state president Vijay Goel protested outside residence of the Delhi chief minister demanding reimbursement of `11 crore to the state government.
