Navy warships to visit SE Asian ports

The warships from the Navy’s Visakhapatnam-based Eastern Fleet are currently on a month-long overseas deployment, during which they will make ‘port of calls’ in the South East Asian nations and also hold passage exercises (Passex) with the local Navies.

Led by Eastern Fleet Commander Rear Admiral Ajit Kumar P, the warships have already sailed out of Visakhapatnam 10 days ago and had called at Singapore, where they held a three-day joint exercise with the Royal Singaporean Navy called ‘Simbex’, officers said.
