Jammu: Nine pilgrims injured as vehicle rolls down into gorge

Nine pilgrims were injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said Sunday.

Nine pilgrims were injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

The pilgrims were heading towards Mani Mahesh temple in Himachal Pradesh to pay obeisance when the accident happened at around 11:30 PM yesterday, they said.

All the nine pilgrims, residents of Kishtwar, suffered injuries and were hospitalised, police said.
