Seven Members of a Family Killed in Road Mishap

Seven members of a family, including two children, were killed and five injured when their car collided with a stationary lorry at Gobachandira village, about 40 km from here, police said today.     

The family members of P Anandan (50), a police Sub Inspector attached to Kadpadi police station in Vellore district, were on their way to Bangalore when the mishap occurred late last night, police said.      

Among the injured a child was in critical condition and all of them were admitted to a government hospital, police said.
