Ram Temple Pledge Will be Fulfilled Soon: Pravin Togadia

Vishwa Hindu Parishad chief Pravin Togadia Sunday said the pledge for constructing Ram temple at Ayodhya will be fulfilled soon.

MUMBAI/NEW DELHI: Vishwa Hindu Parishad chief Pravin Togadia Sunday said the pledge for constructing Ram temple at Ayodhya will be fulfilled soon.

Addressing a gathering in Mumbai, Togadia also said that more than 5,000 hostels for girls and youth will be built in the country and a mechanism will be worked out to provide free health care to poor Hindus.

According to a VHP release, Tagodia also said that efforts will be made to get a central law against religious conversion.

Listing out the goals of VHP, he said the "pledge for construction of Ram temple will be met soon".

Speaking on the occasion, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat said that Hindu society should act according to values it cherishes.

Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party MP Yogi Adityanath told news channel Headlines Today in an interview that that construction of Ram Temple was in the BJP manifesto and it will be done.

Asked whether the Narendra Modi government will abrogate article 370 of the constitution, implement uniform civil code and construct Ram temple, he said all "these three works will be done as they were in party's manifesto".

Adityanath also said that "secularism" has been misused in the country, a release said.
