At Least 10 Labourers Trapped in Roof Collapse

JAIPUR: At least 10 labourers were today trapped in a roof collapse of an under-construction house at Savariya village of Tonk district here, the police said.

Six injured labourers were rescued and rushed to a government hospital in Malpura, the police said.

The rescue operation is underway to locate the trapped persons, police said.

The roof-laying work was underway since morning, and the roof of the first floor started to tumble down in the evening trapping at least 10 labourers, they said.

A detailed report of the incident was awaited at the state headquarters, police said.
