Inspired by his party’s prime ministerial candidate, Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan is working up a sweat to be a trailblazer in the virtual world. After a rather lacklustre performance in the popular micro blogging site, Twitter, the Chief Minister is working hard to make a better comeback.
A team of supporters of the Chief Minister have come together to project Chouhan as a ‘youth icon’, taking a leaf out of Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s book, on the social media.
The dedicated team of officials is headed by senior IAS officers of the state. The team would be taking suggestions from the target audience on how to make the Chief Minister a ‘youth icon’ of the social media.
Shivraj Singh Chouhan, currently has 1800 tweets and has a modest 1.9-lakh followers. In comparison, Modi has 3700 tweets and 33 lakh followers.
