Pakistan’s journalists are apparently enamoured of the AAP and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. A leading Pakistani daily has praised the leader and his party profusely and went on to compare their opulent provincial politicians to the frugal leader.
A report in ‘The Dawn’ on Sunday talks about a meeting between a group of visiting Pakistani journalists and Kejriwal at his office, where he read out his list of ‘corrupt’ politicians.
At a party meeting on Friday, the AAP founder had named several top Indian politicians as corrupt and declared that his party would field candidates against them in the Lok Sabha elections. Kejriwal said what piqued him the most was the reluctance of successive governments to weed out corruption, the daily reported.
