Bhutan Royals to Visit India

The Bhutanese royal couple who will visit India this week will be the first foreign visitors to stay at the refurbished Dwaraka suite at the Rashtrapati Bhawan.

Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk and his wife, Jetsun Pema will be in India from January 6-10 and will be accompanied by a ministerial delegation. “His Majesty the King of Bhutan has been invited by the President and will be first foreign Head of State to be invited to stay at the Dwaraka suite in the Rashtrapati Bhavan,” said a press release.
