Six complaints of mobile theft and pockets being picked were received by police Saturday from people who went to meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal at his 'Janata Darbar' outside the Secretariat, officials said.

"A total of six complaints were received by 2 p.m. including from two journalists and a policemen. The trio lost their mobile phones," a police officer told IANS.

Police said complaints were also received about pickpocketing.

IANS journalist Rahul Vaishnavi, who had gone to cover the 'Janta Darbar', lost his mobile phone while taking an interview of Law Minister Somnath Bharti.

"I felt someone touching my pocket. But there was such a rush and mismanagement that I couldn't see properly," Vaishnavi said.

The first 'Janata Darbar' was a chaotic one, as thousands of people thronged the open space outside the Delhi Secretariat. The chief minister had to leave the venue to avoid a possible stampede.
