An MBA student was arrested after he allegedly threatened a woman classmate to upload her obscene video on internet and to throw acid on her face, police said today.
Bhaskar Prasad (24) was arrested last night following a complaint by 23-year-old girl that Prasad was threatening to upload her obscene video on internet and also to throw acid on her face, the authorities of Indore police's women help cell 'We Care for You' said.
The complainant said that both of them, natives of Rewa, became friends while studying in a coaching class here.
However, after the woman got engaged to someone else, Prasad started threatening her.
Police caught Prasad in a planned manner near a five-star hotel last night and also seized his mobile phone.
