A large number of Dalit women from Haryana Sunday protested outside the residence of Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, demanding the arrest of a village head and his son over the alleged gang rape of four minor girls.

The women demanded immediate action against the village head and his son "who were directly involved in the rape and eviction of 400 families in Bhagana village", said a statement from the Bhagana Kand Sangharsh Samiti.

Hooda's residence is situated at Pandit Pant Marg in central Delhi.

The four school-going Dalit girls were allegedly kidnapped and raped March 23 by upper caste men in Bhagana.

The protestors also submitted a memorandum to Hooda, demanding the arrest of the village head and his son along with others whose names have not been included in the police complaint.
