Bomb Planted Under Culvert in Bihar Recovered and Defused

A bomb planted by Maoists under a culvert in a village in Bihar's Banka district was recovered by security forces Wednesday.

GAYA: A bomb planted by Maoists under a culvert in a village in Bihar's Banka district was recovered by security forces Wednesday.

The bomb was found under the culvert on the Bhaluar-Lutua road in Bhotadih village during a combing operation by the CRPF and Gaya police, Deputy Superintendent of Police Ajay Kumar Singh said.

The bomb was later defused by the bomb-disposal squad, he said.
