Columnist may Head Prasar Bharati

NEW DELHI: Columnist A Surya Prakash has emerged as frontrunner for the post of Prasar Bharati’s chairman. The post had fallen vacant after incumbent chairperson Mrinal Pande’s term got over.  A-Surya-Prakash.jpg Prakash has worked with several newspapers and even have authored books on naming of government schemes after Nehru-Gandhi family; and misuse of MPLAD funds. He is also a member of think tank, Vivekananda International Foundation. It has been acting as talent pool for the Centre as a number of senior officials like NSA Ajit Doval, PM’s Principal Secretary Nripendra Misra, and P K Mishra, Additional Principal Secretary to the PM were earlier members of this body.
