Telangana Offers Help to Cyclone-Hit Andhra

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao Sunday offered to help Andhra Pradesh in rescue and relief operations in areas affected by cyclonic storm Hudhud.

The chief minister said his government is ready to extend any help or assistance to the neighboring state. He directed Chief Secretary Rajiv Sharma to convey this to Andhra Pradesh government, said a statement from the chief minister's office.

The chief secretary later spoke to his Andhra counterpart I.Y.R. Krishna Rao and offered the assistance in rescue and relief work in cyclone-hit north coastal Andhra.
